Dominick Thornton
About
Born in Richmond, Virginia, Dominick Thornton now calls Anaheim, California home. He began his construction career at BYLTup and has spent the past four years growing with the company, advancing into his current role as Project Manager.
Dominick is a registered Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS - 153035 SP) with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB).
What drives him most is the opportunity to serve the community—helping homeowners and property owners solve real issues on their properties with solutions that last. He values the genuine family environment at BYLTup, whether in the office or out on a job site. Two of his standout projects were a GAF Timberline Solar installation for the Critchfield family in Long Beach, coordinating a complete roof-and-solar system while the homeowners lived across the country, and an IB Roof and solar system for the Lainge family in Indian Wells, one of the largest residential IB Roof and solar projects to date for BYLTup.
Outside of work, Dominick enjoys practicing guitar (and occasionally disappearing into “How It’s Made” YouTube rabbit holes), lifting weights at the gym, hiking or running with his fiancée, and simply spending quality downtime with family. A longtime football fan, he has supported the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for more than 20 years—well before the Tom Brady era. His favorite colors are navy blue and red.
Looking ahead, Dominick aims to take on greater leadership responsibility within BYLTup while eventually pursuing a long-term dream of opening a coffee shop.
