About
Matt Fines was born in San Pedro, California, and still calls San Pedro home. He has spent eight years in the roofing industry, including the last two and a half years growing with BYLTup into his current role as Project Manager.
Matt is a registered Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS - 158435 SP) with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB).
What drives him most is the work itself and the people in it — traveling to new places and connecting with new homeowners and crews every day. He values the trust, respect, and integrity he finds at BYLTup, and how the company treats employees with respect and dignity the same way it treats its customers. A standout career moment for Matt has been achieving and managing the largest residential project in BYLTup history.
Outside of work, Matt is an expert fisherman who can put anyone on fish, a lifelong baseball fan and dedicated Dodgers supporter, and the proud owner of a Belgian Malinois named Athena. His favorite color is blue.
Looking ahead, Matt aims to expand his portfolio and keep getting better every year through hard work.
